• Geek Chic live at the Soho Theatre

The podcast I’ve been doing for the past three years – exploring the most bizarre, thought-provoking and unusual findings from the world of science research – with delicious co-host Lliana Bird, went live during the summer of 2017.

We recorded Geek Chic’s Weird Science in front of live audiences at the Cheltenham Science Festival in June, Latitude Festival in July and WOMAD. It seemed to go down so well that we decided to keep up the momentum with a few live events in and around London over the next few months, kicking off with the Science of Vampires.

On Monday 23rd Oct at 7:30pm we’ll be making our west end debut by recording our Halloween Vampire Special at the Soho Theatre at 21 Dean St, London W1D 3NE. Together with special guests – mortician Carla Valentine and “The Prof Of Goth” Professor Nick Groom – we’ll be exploring whether or not Vampires really exist, what the real-life medical conditions might have been that enabled them to penetrate deep into the heart of popular culture AND we’ll find out if fresh blood really can help to keep us young and virile?

Please do come and support us – we need to sell out to get a regular slot! Book your tickets online (click here before tickets run out!!).
