I made my break on a 20 episode BBC series, then moved on to Discovery, Sky, TLC and even MTV.
There are currently two series of my latest show “Secrets of the Brain” airing on Insight TV, on demand at Curiosity Stream and, if recent reports are to be believed, on various aeroplanes.

I’ve always relished the challenge of live shows, having appeared on BBC Breakfast, ITV’s This Morning and Ch5’s Sunday Brunch on a dozen occasions. Here’s some of the old stuff…
One of my most impactful contributions was to the award winning documentary I Am Gen Z. I outlined some of the early scientific evidence suggesting that overconsumption of technology is changing our brains for the worse, which is becoming particularly problematic in younger generations.
I was also lucky enough to do a show with the excellent Michael Mosley (RIP), from whom I learned a huge amount, which aired all over the globe via BBC Earth:
